Cala Llonga over the years…

We have been coming to Cala Llonga for over 30 years and have loved it from the moment we bought our apartment on that beautiful pine clad hillside. Our children and grandchildren love it too with the beach, the hippy market and the wide variety of bars and restaurants. All our guests come back year after year from every age group and we can’t wait to be there again shortly and let it’s beauty and tranquillity heal our ageing bones.

I’m now a regular visitor to Cala Llonga and have been visiting the resort twice a year, every year, since 2009. It is one of the most beautiful, friendly and relaxing resorts on the island with plenty to do and see. Its crowning glory is its amazing golden horseshoe shaped beach, which provides shelter from the open waters of the Mediterranean, and is a great place to swim and sunbath.

If you’re looking for a fun destination this year look no further than Cala Llonga, Ibiza. Enjoy the organised events by all at Viva Cala Llonga and look out especially for the flower power night where you can be dancing in the street and join in the dressing up so you can look like a hippie and do the hippie hippie shake all night long while wandering through the fantastic choices of bars and restaurants that make this resort the ideal destination for families, couples and individuals alike, come along and join the fun.

If you’re in Cala Llonga, Ibiza pop in to Sol’s Bar (La Cantina) near the beach. Great grub, curries, snacks and the best Sunday lunch in Ibiza. Sol runs a great bar… everyone is welcome.

Liked it so much we bought it, “well only a small piece.”

If you’re looking for a great resort this year for a holiday or just a weekend away look no further than Cala Llonga in Ibiza. This village  comes alive during the summer months and has everything you need for the family and couples, with many choices of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a choice of accommodation from bed and breakfast to all inclusive hotels and villas. A fantastic range of functions are organised every month; the flower power night is just the ticket – if you want to get down and dance in the street follow a mobile disco around the resort stopping at various bars with finally ending with a beach party till early hours.

Cala llonga has been our family’s favourite holiday destination for the past 26 years. We keep coming back because Cala llonga is such a warm and welcoming place and feels like a home from home. The beautiful scenery, lovely safe beach, shops and a great variety of restaurants are all on your doorstep and provide great facilities for young and old alike.
When our daughter recently chose Cala llonga as her wedding venue we were delighted, and over 80 guests joined us for a week of celebrations.. The open air church at Pueblo Asparagus was a magical setting for the wedding ceremony. Our guests were truly impressed by the quality of wedding festivities which took place in a number of local restaurants over the next few days.
Many of them are looking forward to a return visit and we will certainly continue our regular holidays at this wonderful location.
